Walker promoted at State Bank

State Bank & Trust Company has announced that Dustin Walker has recently been named city president.

Walker has 5 1/2 years of banking experience and over 15 years in management. He previously held the position of vice president with State Bank & Trust Company.

Walker graduated from Brookhaven High School and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Mississippi State University.

Actively involved in the community, Walker is currently president of the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce and president of the Krewe of Ceres.

He is past president of the Brookhaven Servitium Club and the Lincoln County Chapter of the Mississippi State University Alumni Association. He also serves on the King’s Daughters Medical Center Foundation Board and is chairman of the Lincoln Civic Center Baseball Facility Concept Marketing Team.

Walker and his family are members of First Baptist Brookhaven where he is a deacon and chairman of the Finance Committee.

He and his wife, Stacy Burgess Walker, have two children, Alice Anne and Gatson. In his spare time he enjoys coaching youth sports and tennis.
