Wreaths Across America stops in Brookhaven

DAILY LEADER / NATHANIEL WEATHERSBY / Wreaths Across America is the charitable arm of the Worchester Wreath Company in Maine that recognizes and honors Veterans. Over 900 locations worldwide will receive wreaths that will be placed on National Wreath Laying Day on Saturday. Wal-Mart has participated for six years, and this year 16 Wal-Mart trailers will haul more than 84,000 wreaths. Drivers will stop at 40 cities to relay drivers. Brookhaven was chosen to be one of those relay points as the wreaths continue to Houston National Cemetery.
