Designed with the area’s new residents in mind, but equally of interest to longtime residents of the community, the annual “Newcomer” magazine will be included in Friday’s home-delivered editions of The Daily Leader.

The publication contains all the information a new resident needs to get settled into the community, including who to call or see for utilities, a driver’s license, vehicle registration, schools, etc.

Also included are features on local organizations and facilities and places of particular interest to new residents.

While all newspaper subscribers will receive a copy of “Newcomer” in Friday’s edition of the paper, copies of “Newcomer” also will be available for purchase in The Daily Leader office starting Friday.
