Mr. Middleton, 39, died June 27, 2000, of heart failure at hisresidence.

He was a general foreman. He was a member of Shady Grove BaptistChurch. He was a member of the Rockport Hunting Club.

Survivors are his wife, Karen Middleton; his daughter, MistiMiddleton of Crystal Springs; his brothers, Ronnie Middleton ofWesson and Carl Wayne Middleton of Hazlehurst; and his sister,Jennie Davis of Hazlehurst.

Daisy Richardson

Services for Daisy Richardson of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.,Saturday, July 1, at Rose Hill M. B. Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, June 30, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. withfamily hour from 6-7 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Richardson, 74, died June 27, 2000, of heart failure atKing’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven onApril 4, 1926, to John Richardson and Julia Dunn Richardson.

She worked for a number of years with Kellwood Garment Factoryin Wesson as a presser. She was a member of Rose Hill M. B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, WilliamRichardson and Don Richardson; and her sisters, Donis Clair andMary Fields.

Survivors are her son, LaVonda Clair of Brookhaven; herdaughter, Brenda Lynch of Brookhaven; her brothers, Roland Stewartof Brookhaven and Charles Richardson of Lansing, Mich.; hersisters, Gladys Richardson of Brookhaven and Geneva Staci ofOakland, Calif.; and six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren anda host of nieces or nephews.

Robert S. Rose Jr.

Services for Robert S. Rose Jr. of Flowood are 10 a.m., Friday,June 30, at Laird Funeral Home in Natchez with burial in GreenlawnMemorial Park.

Mr. Rose, 41, died June 27, 2000, of cancer at his residence. Hewas a Shreveport, La., native and a former resident of Vidalia,La.

He was a crane operator. He was a member of Flowood BaptistChurch. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Concordia 305F&AM.

Survivors are his wife, Karen Rose; his sons, Charles Ryan Roseand Joseph “Joey” Neal, both of Flowood; his daughter, Allyce Roseof Flowood; his mother, Rosemary Audleman Rose of Vidalia; and hissisters, Robbie Bryant of Bude, Rona Beach of Pineville, La., andCissy O’Neal of West Monroe, La.

Services for Charles Albert Ward of Brookhaven were 10 a.m.,Thursday, June 29, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inHeucks Retreat Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Ward, 70, died June 27, 2000, of respiratory failure at St.Dominic’s Hospital. He was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 4, 1929,to Charlie Thomas Ward and Mary Etta Bullock Ward.

He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of HeucksRetreat Baptist Church. He was a member of Woodmen of theWorld.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, WillieThomas Ward.

Survivors are his wife, Jane P. Durham Ward of Brookhaven; hisson, John Charles Ward of Brandon; his daughters, Bobbie JeanMartin of Florence, Janet Marie Ward Embry of Brighton, Tenn., andSandra Kay Malacara of Kyle, Texas; his sisters, Annie Mae Winborneand Sara Elizabeth Hodges, both of Brookhaven; and eightgrandchildren.

Mr. Withers, 59, died June 27, 2000, of respiratory failure atUniversity Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Carthage onFeb. 7, 1941, to John H. Withers and Florence Shoemake Withers.

He was employed with the Mississippi Department ofTransportation. He was a member of Meadow Brook Church of Christ inJackson, where he was an usher.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Elaine Jordan Withers of Brookhaven; hisson, James Jonathan Withers of Brookhaven; his daughter, LeighElaine Withers of Brookhaven; and his brothers, Willie Van Withersof Brookhaven and John Thomas Withers of Gulfport.
