Services for Dorothy Nell Newell of Wesson are 10 a.m.,Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inPleasant Hill Cemetery in Copiah County.

Visitation is Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 5-9 p.m. at HarrigillFuneral Home.

Mrs. Newell, 75, died Aug. 28, 2000, at her residence. She wasborn in Copiah County on Aug. 9, 1925, to Clara Kimble Leggett andJesse Leggett.

She was a member of Brandywine Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Charles H. Newell of Wesson; hersons, Charles Wayne Newell of Wesson, Willie Hugh Newell of Petaland Jesse Ray Newell of Pleasant Hill; her daughter, Dorothy FayeHarper; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
