Services for Leroy Johnson of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. Monday,July 2, at Rosehill M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, July 1, from noon to 7 p.m. with a familyhour from 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Johnson, 76, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at King’sDaughters Medical Center. He was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 25,1925, to the late Clarence and Carrie Johnson.

He was a retired painter. He was a member of Rosehill M.B.Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Jafus Johnson;and a devoted companion of 25 years, Edna Smith.

Survivors are his son, Ricky Smith of Atlanta; daughters,Darlene Wilcher of Brookhaven and Carrie Pauling of Detroit;brother, Clarence Johnson Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Thelma Loweof Detriot and Mary Williams of Dayton, Ohio; ten grandchildren;and three great-grandchildren.
