Services for Ida Myrtle Davis McGee of Brookhaven are 10 a.m.,Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Gum Grove Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. McGee, 89, died Sept. 15, 2001, at Beverly Health Care. Shewas born in Lincoln County on May 9, 1912, to Marshall Allen Davisand Ollie Eldora Case Davis.

She was a former employee of Stahl-Urban. She was a member ofGum Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, LutherEalon McGee Sr.

Survivors are her sons, Luther Ealon McGee Jr. of Brookhaven andJames Colon McGee of Huntsville, Ala.; her daughter, Mary AliceMcGee Craig of Charlotte, N.C.; her sisters, Hazel Davis and DaisyDavis Pogue, both of Brookhaven; and five grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren.
