Bobcats bash St. Aloysius

VICKSBURG – Senior tailback Dominique Addison put on aone-man-show Friday night as he scored four touchdowns to power theBogue Chitto Bobcats in a 30-0 win over the St. Aloysius Flashes.Addison scored on runs of 4, 10, 16 and 47-yards for the Bobcatswho handed St. Al its first loss of the season.

Bobcat tailback Denard Ferguson rushed for two 2-pointconversions and quarterback Jacob Leggett connected to Fred Smithfor a third two-point conversion.

“We are pleased to win,” said Bogue Chitto head coach Carl Cole.”We played real well. St. Al stayed with us in the first half. Inthe third quarter, we came out and took the game away.”

Addison rushed 13 times for 170 yards. Ferguson rushed 17 timesfor 87 yards. Following with two rushes for 24 yards was MichaelBlackwell.

Leggett completed 3 of 7 passes for 14 yards. Ferguson had onecatch for seven yards, Cody Wallace made one catch for four yardsand Smith made one catch for three yards.

Defensively, linebacker John Wallace led the Bobcatswith eight tackles. Lindsey Jackson made seven stops. Paul Martinfinished with four stops and two quarterback sacks. Blackwell andFerguson also intercepted a pass.

Bogue Chitto (4-1, 2-1) visits West Lincoln Friday nightfor a key division game. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
