The Alexander junior high football team handed Franklin County a36-6 beating. Alexander (6-1) visits South Pike Thursday for thedivision championship.

Darrell Smith of Alexander rushed for 144 yards and threetouchdowns. Smith also scored two extra points.

Alexander’s Anthony Caffie rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown.On defense, Caffie collected eight tackles on defense. Cassie alsoscored an extra point.

Adding support for Alexander was T.J. Qualls who scored atouchdown and rushed for 74 yards. Ty McKee rushed for 10 yards onoffense and made eight tackles and recovered a fumble on defense.Rushing for 15 yards was Marlon Dixon.
