Services for Leona Terrell Smith of McCall Creek are 2 p.m.,Tuesday, Nov. 27, at McCall Creek Church of God with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Smith, 90, died Nov. 24, 2001, at her daughter’s residencein Monticello. She was born in Franklin County on Dec. 27, 1910, toWilliam Elzey Terrell and Arie Elizabeth Lofton Terrell.

She was a homemaker. She had been active in Center Point HomeDemonstration Club for 10 years or more. She loved gardening,fishing, quilting, and painting. She was a charter member of McCallCreek Church of God, where she served as church clerk for 48 yearsand taught Sunday school from beginners to adult.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, PercySmith; her son, Clayton Smith; and two brothers and twosisters.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Smith Moak ofSummit and Joyce and Willard Griffin of Monticello; her sisters,Eva Pullen of Brookhaven, Fay Moore of Bay St. Louis, and ReginaHinote of Mobile; her brothers, Clyde Terrell of McCall Creek,Linton Terrell of Edwards, and Juniuis Terrell of Salisbury, N.C.;her grandchildren, Jason Moak, Latonia Moak, and Lynn Moak, all ofSummit, Ken and Mary Ann Nations of Nola, Gena and Bob Naef ofColorado Springs, and Elizabeth N. Wilson of Monticello; and hergreat-grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Millaine, Daniel, Kayla, andZack; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to McCall Creek Church of God MemorialFund and to Hospice Ministries.
