Graveside services for Hollis Dillon of Brookhaven were 11 a.m.,Thursday, March 7, at Carver Heights Cemetery. Century Funeral Homewas in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dillon, 69, died March 4, 2002, of smoke inhalation at hisresidence. He was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 23, 1932, toWillie Dillon Sr. and Georgia Roberts Dillon. He was a graduate ofAlexander High School.

He was a member of St. Paul M. B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, AdineJustice; and his brothers, Willie Dillon Jr. and James Dillon.

Survivors are his brothers, Robert Dillon of Los Angeles andEdward Dillon of Chicago; and his sister, Mary Louise Meredith ofMoney.
