Services for George Brister Jr. of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Sunday, May 5, at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial in BogueChitto Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Brister, 88, died April 30, 2002, at Marion General Hospitalin Columbia. He was born in Bogue Chitto on June 3, 1913, toJonathan Brister and Celia Brister.

He was retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Louise Brister of Brookhaven; hisson, George Brister Jr. of Detroit, Mich.; his sisters, Vinia MaeJoseph and Julia Nell Campbell, both of McComb; and threegrandchildren and many other relatives.
