Services for Mildred Covington King of Union Church are 11 a.m.,Tuesday, May 21, at Union Church Presbyterian Church with burial inUnion Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 2-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. King, 77, died May 18, 2002, at St. Dominic’s Hospital. Shewas born in Jefferson County on April 21, 1925, to Henry LeeCovington and Ethel McCall Covington.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her son, Sammy LeeKing.

Survivors are her husband, Ira A. King Jr.; her son, Harold Kingof Union Church; her daughter, Ginger Mitchell of Union Church; herbrother, Billy Covington of Union Church; her sister, JaniceChandler of San Jose, Calif.; and her grandchildren, CaresaMitchell, Kendra Mitchell, Harold Gabreial King, Sharla King, andDanielle King.
