Services for Martha Evelyn Owen of Wesson are 10 a.m., Friday,Nov. 29, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Zion HillBaptist Church Cemetery in Copiah County.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Owen, 85, died Nov. 27, 2002, of heart failure at King’sDaughters Medical Center. She was born in Copiah County on March 3,1917, to Ethel Mae Foster and James Estus Moore.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Strong Hope BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, WalterDenver Owens.

Survivors are her daughter, Ethel Jean Parker of Wesson; herbrother, James Alton Moore of Wesson; her sister, Virginia MaeDonnelly of Crystal Springs; and two grandchildren and threegreat-grandchildren.
