Services for Harold Hudson of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,Feb. 15, at Alexander Junior High School with burial in FriendshipMissionary Baptist Church.

Visitation is Friday from noon to 7 p.m., with family hour from7:30-8:30 p.m., at Williams Mortuary, and Saturday from 1-2 p.m.,at the school.

Mr. Hudson, 64, died Feb. 9, 2003, at Washington St. TammyMedical Center in Bogalousa, La. He was born in Lincoln County onMay 7, 1938, to M.L. Hudson Sr., and Mary Hudson.

He was a retired licensed contractor. He was a member ofFriendship Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.He was a graduate of Friendship School.

Preceding him in death were his mother; his wife, Dorothy AllenHudson; a daughter, Vernita Hudson; two sisters, Sandra Hudson andTheresa Robinson; and three brothers, John Hudson, Randy Hudson andM.L. Hudson Jr.

Survivors are his father, M.L. Hudson Sr. of Brookhaven; hissons and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Candace Hudson of Tyler,Texas, and Louis Hudson of Louisiana; his daughters and son-in-law,Valerie Hudson, and Vanessa and Christopher Thomas, all ofBrookhaven; his brothers and sisters-in-law, David and CorrineHudson of Vallejo, Calif., and Paul and Shirley Hudson, and Albertand Maggie Hudson, all of Brookhaven; his sisters andbrothers-in-law, Mary Johnson, and Audrey and Curtis Brown, all ofMonticello, Hilda and Roy Rucks of Brookhaven, and Eva and EmmitMay, and Caroline and Gerald Nathaniel, all of Bogalousa, La.; andfive grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.
