Services for Joseph Frank Rice of Whitfield are 2 p.m.,Saturday, March 8, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inWesson Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Rice, 63, died March 5, 2003, at Jacquith Nursing Home. Hewas born in Ft. Knox, Ky., on Nov. 27, 1939, to John F. Rice andDonis Holloway Rice.

He was a retired self-employed painter. He was a member ofWesson Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; and a sister, SueHudson.

Survivors are his mother, Donis Rice of Ponchatoula, La.; hissons, Ronald Rice of Wesson, and Michael Rice of Brandon; hisdaughter, Jennifer Gray of Virginia; his brother, Johnny Rice ofTampa, Fla.; his sisters, Janet Kelley of Wesson and Sharon Inmanof Ponchatoula; and three grandchildren.
