Services for Stella Mavis Morris Cupit of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.,today at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New SalemBaptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.
Mrs. Cupit, 95, died March 5, 2003, at McComb Extended Care. Shewas born in Choctaw County on Aug. 24, 1907, to Herod FondernMorris Cupit and Lillie Katherine Franklin Cupit.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RobertMarvin Cupit; three sons, Luther Eugene Roberts, Morris GreyRoberts and Marion Earl Roberts; a daughter, Katherine RobertsDurio; her brothers, Franklin Morris and Heburt Morris; twosisters, Nora Lee Lacey and Bertha Denney; and two grandchildren,James Richard Parr and Jerry Eugene Parr.
Survivors are her sons, John Roberts of Brookhaven, ClydeRoberts of Hartville, Mo., James Roberts of Corona, Calif., andBobby Cupit of Magnolia; her daughters, Lillian Lisk of Woodville,Jeanette Durio of Mamou, La., and Mary Anita Cupit Hoyt of BatonRouge, La.; her sisters, Gladys Morris and Christine MorrisFreeman, both of Summit, and Onita Morris Smith of Madison; and 19grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
