Services for Mary Ann Ford Steward of Cedar Rapids, Iowa,formerly of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, at CenterStreet Church of God in Christ with burial in Jericho churchcemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon-8 p.m., with family hour from7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Steward, 50, died Nov. 13, 2003, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Shewas born in Brookhaven on Sept. 18, 1953, to Robert Earl Hill andCarrie Ree Kees.

She was disabled and was a member of Center Street Church of Godin Christ. She attended Eva Harris High School and earned herGeneral Education Diploma.

Preceding her in death were her father; a son, Jerry; a sister,Valerie Kees; and three brothers, Herbert Kees, Calvin Hill andBobby E. Lee.

Survivors are her mother, Carrie Ree Kees of Brookhaven; herstepfather, Houston Kees of Brookhaven; her sons, Fredrick D.Steward of Iowa, Jeffery E. Steward of Iowa City, Iowa, and DerrickA. Steward of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her maternal siblings, Ira JeanWheeler of Crystal Springs, Joyce Redd, Carolyn Brown, VincentKees, Billy Ray Allen and Bobby Allen, all of Brookhaven, EdithMoore and Angela Bobbitt, both of Kingsland, Ga., James H. Kees ofLouisiana, and Harry S. Kees of Summit; her paternal siblings,Robert J. Hill of Brookhaven, and Alfred Hill, Gloria J. Grady,Brenda C. Taylor, Pam McKella and Regina Green, all of Hattiesburg;16 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.
