Services for Ralph E. Burke of Villa Rica, Ga., are 1 p.m.,Saturday, Aug. 28, at Midway Macedonia Baptist Church with burialin West Georgia Memorial Park.

Visitation is Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Martin and HightowerHeritage Chapel of Carrollton, Ga.

Mr. Burke, 66, died Aug. 26, 2004, in Georgia. He was born inWesson on Dec. 9, 1937, to David Scott Burke and Ella DayBurke.

He was retired as a senior public health advisor with theCenters for Disease Control after a 33-year career in public healthservice. He was a member of Midway Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Sara Wilkerson Burke; his daughter,Melissa Trippe of Villa Rica; his son, Craig D. Burke ofGreeneville, Tenn.; his two brothers, Charles D. Burke and GeraldBurke, both of Wesson; and six grandchildren.
