Services for Donell Sanders of Chicago, formerly of Brookhaven,are noon, today, Dec. 13, at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Churchwith burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in chargeof arrangements.

Mr. Sanders, 71, died Dec. 7, 2004, at Westlake CommunityHospital in Melrose Park, Ill. He was born in Lincoln County onNov. 1, 1933, to Melvin Sanders and Lela Levi Sanders.

He was retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three sisters, LulaFields, Sharlene Matthews and Hazle Carter; two brothers, WillieSanders and R.T. Scarborough.

Survivors are his sisters, Essie Bell McGee and Audrey Martin,both of Chicago, Glenda DeMyers of Detroit, Lizzie Fields and herhusband, the Rev. Leon Fields, Levern Richardson, EarnestineShannon and her husband, Linnard, and Idella Sanders, all ofBrookhaven; his brother, Tommie Sanders and his wife, Annie, ofBrookhaven; his brother-in-law, Carvis Matthews of Chicago; andmany nieces, nephews and other relatives.
