Services for Hazel B. Busby, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m.Saturday, March 26 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burialin Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Busby, 98, died March 24, 2005, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on May 6, 1906, to ThomasBrown and Mary Angeline Brown.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Montgomery BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RileyBusby; three brothers, Enoch Brown, Lemmie Brown and Charlie Brown;two sisters, Carrie Johnston and Rena Mae Brown.

Survivors are her son, Tommy Busby, of Bogue Chitto; threedaughters, Sylvia Bradley, of Bogue Chitto, Gwen Sutton, of Monroe,La., and Dianne Hartman, of Bude; two sisters, Grace Green andLaura Pence, both of Summit; 10 grandchildren; 21great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Alyce Martin

Graveside services for Mary Alyce Martin, of Canton, are 2 p.m.today, March 25 at Easthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home isin charge of arrangements.

Miss Martin, 64, died March 23, 2005, at Madison County MedicalCenter in Canton. She was born in Lincoln County on July 14, 1940,to James Luther Martin Sr. and Edna Eldora Leggett Martin.

She was disabled.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, ImogeneMartin Case and Dorothy Martin Hennis; and her brothers, JamesLuther Martin Jr. and Milton Earl Martin.

Survivors are her sisters, Olivia M. Newman, of Wesson, andVirginia M. Sebus, Carolyn M. Waterman and Lucile M. Weiss, all ofReno, Nev.; her brothers, Marvin O. Martin and Charles E. Martin,both of Brookhaven; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret Ruth Cothern Pepper

Services for Margaret Ruth Cothern Pepper, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Saturday, March 26 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Wanilla Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pepper, 82, died March 24, 2005, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lawrence County on Oct. 2, 1922, toSamuel Elzia Newsome and Minnie Mae Keene Newsome.

She was a nurses aid at Silver Cross Nursing Home. She was amember of Central Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, PrestonCothern and Powell W. Pepper; her sisters, Ruby Thornhill, BarbaraAnn Boutwell and Sarah Calcote; and her brothers, Roscoe Newsomeand William Thomas Newsome.

Survivors are her sons, James Cothern and his wife, Betty, DonCothern and his wife, Rita, and Ken Cothern and his wife, Sheila,all of Brookhaven; his sisters, Minnie Marie Evans and her husband,Joe, of Biloxi, Pauline Lambert, of Wanilla, and Faye Etta Hilband,of Brookhaven; her brothers, Samuel “Bud” Newsome and his wife,Betty, of Sontag, and Joe Newsome and his wife, Margarette, ofBrookhaven; six grandchildren, Missy Wilson, and her husband, Jeff,of Brookhaven, Kim Wright and her husband, Stan, of Gulf Breeze,Fla., Dawn Hennington, of Brookhaven, Dana Rushing and her husband,Brad, of Brookhaven, Stephanie Lee and her husband, David, ofMeridian and Krystal Leggett, of Brookhaven; and 10great-grandchildren.

Services for Wayne Gordon Tynes Jr., of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Saturday, March 26 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inPleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Tynes died March 25, 2005, at Forrest General Hospital inHattiesburg.
