Services for James T. Taylor, of Brandon, are 2 p.m. Saturday,May 7 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in PleasantRidge United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Taylor, 82, died May 5, 2005, at Brandon Court Rest Home. Hewas born in Shelby County, Texas, on Sept. 18, 1922, to Dave Taylorand Pearlie Daw Taylor.

He was retired from Gulf Oil Company. He was an Army veteranwith service in World War II. He was a member of Pleasant RidgeUnited Pentecostal Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Mary VirginiaAdams Taylor; and two sons, Lanny Taylor and Tommy Taylor.

Survivors are his sons, Terry Taylor and his wife, Paige, ofBrandon, Kenny Taylor and his wife, Regina, of Longview, Texas, andMicheal Taylor, of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren; and 10great-grandchildren.
