“Reserve Two For Murder” is not only unique in its setting,present-day Lawrence County, but is crammed with surprises toprovide an evening of comedy, drama, thrills and suspense.

“What I like most about the play, and can reveal in a generalway, is that ‘Reserve Two For Murder’ is interactive. The audiencealso has its own very real role to play,” Tynes said.

Not all of the roles have large speaking parts, but nearly allof the roles will be “on stage, relatively speaking,” through mostof the performance, he said.

Roles in the play vary in age, Tynes said. He encouraged anyoneinterested in acting on stage to come to the audition.

“Reserve Two For Murder” will be presented at the civic centerSept. 16-18. Play practices will begin later this month.

The play had a successful run at the Cherry Lane Theatre in NewYork during the spring of 1939. It is free from morbid orsuggestive content.

Although walk-ins are welcome, Tynes asked that those who areinterested in attending the auditions or those who need moreinformation to call him after 5 p.m. at (601) 587-4008.
