Dorothy Q. Cline

Services for Dorothy Q. “Momma Dot” Cline, of Florence, formerlyof McComb, were 11 a.m. today, July 13 at Wade-Nowell FuneralChapel in Collins with burial in Ruth Cemetery in LincolnCounty.

Mrs. Cline, 81, died July 11, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Opelika, Ala., on Nov. 20, 1923, to George and IreneBradford Quinton.

She was a retired sales manager. She was a member of the Baptistchurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, June,Jewel and Annie Ruth; one brother, A.C.; and a grandson, JefferyNeal Smith.

Survivors are her two sons, James Waller, of Mize, and FrankWaller, of Monticello; one daughter, Joyce Blair, of Florence; onesister, Junta Wall, of Phoenix City, Ala.; eight grandchildren; twostep-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Sharron Lambert Pickering

Services for Sharron Lambert Pickering, of Natchez, are 11 a.m.Thursday, July 14 at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel withburial at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church Cemetery inBrookhaven.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pickering, 53, died July 12, 2005, at Natchez RegionalMedical Center. She was born in Franklin Parish, La., on Oct. 16,1951, to John Edward and Montie Sue Knox Lambert Sr.

She was a member of Stanton Baptist Church.

Survivors are her mother, Montie Sue Lambert; her daughters,Melissa Strittman Hallman, of Alabama, and Virginia Courtney, ofVirginia; her sons, Donny Strittman, of Alabama, and ChipPickering, of Natchez; her sisters, Judy Lambert McReynolds, ofBaton Rouge, La., Lorraine Henderson, of Natchez, and CarolynLambert Burchfield, of Natchez; her brother, James Lambert, ofNatchez; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and manyfriends.
