Five people were injured Monday evening in an crash at theintersection of Highway 84 and Jackson-Liberty Road.

Robby Higgs, 37, Ellen Higgs, 37, and Jared Hayes, 19, all ofOcean Springs, were transported by ambulance to King’s DaughtersMedical Center. Betty Evans, 36, and Amy Evans, 10, both ofBrookhaven, were taken to KDMC by private vehicle, said Staff Sgt.Rod Crawford, public affairs officer for Mississippi’s HighwayPatrol Troop M.

Robby Higgs was traveling east on Highway 84 when his vehiclestruck the vehicle driven by Betty Evans, Crawford said.
