Services for Minnie A. Temple, of Hammond, La., are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb with burialin Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Temple, 84, died Nov. 20, 2005, at North Oaks MedicalCenter in Hammond. She was born in Ruth on June 24, 1921, to JohnCalvin Brekeen and Lula Bell Johnston Brekeen.
She was a retired waitress and a member of the Pentecostalfaith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RufusTemple; one son, David Temple; a grandson, Shane Hart; and fourbrothers, Herman Brekeen, J.C. “Doc” Brekeen, James “Jake” Brekeenand Milton “Buddy” Brekeen.
Survivors are her son, Ronnie Temple, of Hammond; her twodaughters, Norma Handley and Linda Neel, both of Hammond; twobrothers, Glen Brekeen, of Denham Springs, and Lynn Brekeen, ofBaton Rouge; one sister, Mildred “Sis” Cranford, of Denham Springs;10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces andnephews.
