Services for Berteal Bass Dillon Redd, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 17 at Center Street Church of Christ with burial inHillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. with family hour from 6 to7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Redd, 50, died Dec. 13, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born on April 26, 1955, to Benjamin Bass and RubyOatis Bass.

She was disabled. She was a 1973 graduate of Brookhaven HighSchool. She was a member of Center Street Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, J.D. Bassand Alvin Bass; three sisters, Classie Mae Taylor, Joyce Smith andRuby Crockett; and a stepsister, Catherine Mathis.

Survivors are her son, Michael Dillon, of Gulfport; her sevensisters, Edna Mae Bryant, of Gulfport, Voncile Smith, ofHuntsville, Ala., and Ola Carpenter, Mandy Gray, Paula Poole, DebraBridges and Noreen Poole, all of Hattiesburg; her 11 brothers, V.T.Bass, Leroy Bass, Reggie Bass, all of Gulfport, Nolan Bass, ofBrookhaven, Harold Bass, of Houston, Texas, James Poole and LeroyPoole, both of Brookhaven, Ransom Pool Jr., of Fort Walton Beach,Fla., Harold Poole, of Hattiesburg, Freddie Poole, of Atlanta, Ga.,and Calvin Poole, of Jackson; three grandchildren; a special niece,Dianne Smith, of Brookhaven; and a host of other nieces, nephews,relatives and friends.
