Services for Julia Rea Dixon Anderson, of Brookhaven, formerlyof Monticello, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at Oak Grove M.B.Church in Monticello with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Anderson, 82, died Jan. 13, 2006, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born on Feb. 17, 1923, to Ross Dixon andMattie Dixon.

She was retired. She was a member of Oak Grove M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, DelausAnderson Sr.; her brothers, Ross Dixon, Carl Dixon, David Dixon,Earnest Dixon and Willie Dixon; and her sisters, Annie Mikell,Elouise Dixon, Pearline Dixon, Zella Mae Pittman and LizzieCaine.

Survivors are her son, Delaus Anderson Jr., of Chicago; twosisters, Minnie Lee Dixon, of Monticello, and Ruby Speights, ofRiverside, Calif.
