Services for Wessie Woolley Smith, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.today, Feb. 10 at Philadelphia Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation was today from 10 a.m. until noon at BrookhavenFuneral Home and from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Smith, 95, died Feb. 9, 2006, at Beverly Health Care. Shewas born in Lincoln County on March 9, 1910, to Stonewall Woolleyand Bertha Porter Woolley.

She was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of PhiladelphiaBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Loyd L.Smith; her brothers, Prentiss Woolley, Edgar Woolley, ClaytonWoolley and Purvis Woolley; and her sisters, Annie Woolley and LunaHerring.

Survivors are her son, Dr. Prentiss Smith and his wife, Beverly,of Brookhaven; her daughter, DeLois McClelland, and her husband,Howard, of Brookhaven; her brother, Herbert Woolley, of Brookhaven;her sister, Eula Pierce, of Jackson; five grandchildren, DanitaHobbs and her husband, Lyle, and Deanne Allgood, and her husband,Henry, all of Brookhaven, Amy Hollimon and her husband, Brad, ofBloomington, Ind., Anna Semprevivo and her husband, Mike, of GlenEllyn, Ill., and Lee Smith, of Washington, D.C.; and fivegreat-grandchildren, Blake and Justin Hobbs, Ashley and AustinAllgood, and Sophia Bailey Hollimon.
