Services for Tommie Louise Sanders Reid, of Jayess, are 1 p.m.today, Feb. 21, at Monticello Baptist Church with burial in TiltonUnited Methodist Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. Reid, 71, died Feb. 19, 2006, at Forrest General Hospitalin Hattiesburg. She was born on Jan. 24, 1935, to Thomas JeffersonSanders and Hazel Boone Sanders.

She was director of medical records for 35 years with LawrenceCounty Hospital in Monticello. She was a member of MonticelloMethodist Protestant Church. Aside from her family, music was herlifelong passion. She touched many lives through her music, singingin gospel groups, and playing and teaching piano. Her favoritepastimes were listening to and singing gospel music.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Cannon Reid, of Jayess; her sons,Craig Reid and wife Susan, Dr. Thomas “Rusty” Reid, all ofMonticello, Phillip Reid and wife Tabby, of Brookhaven, and AltonJ. “Skip” Reid, of Jayess; and her grandchildren, Matthew Reid,Julie Reid, Andrew Reid, Anna Smith and Nick Smith.
