Services for Judy M. Dykes, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Monday,April 24, at Mt. Wade M.B. Church with burial in Carver HeightsCemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, withfamily present from 5 to 6 p.m.

Ms. Dykes, 65, died April 18, 2006, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born on Jan. 6, 1941, to TyreeMcBeth Sr. and Lela Blue McBeth.

She was a graduate of Jackson State University. She was aretired educator from Brookhaven Public Schools. She was a memberof Jackson State University Alumni Club and the Bertha L. JohnsonLiterary Club. She was a member of Mt. Wade M.B. Church inBrookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, TyreeMcBeth Jr; and her sisters, Marie Henderson, Nadine McBeth White,Theresa McBeth Huff, Eloise McBeth and Irma McBeth Peyton.

Survivors are her daughter, Tracey Robinson, of Bogue Chitto;her brothers, Frank McBeth, of Brookhaven, and Isaiah Bracy, ofChicago, Ill.; her sister, Betty Spiller, of Brookhaven; and hertwo grandchildren.
