Brendan Chase Roberts
Services for Brendan Chase Roberts, of Natchez, were 2 p.m.Sunday, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Carmel BaptistChurch Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts, 23, died April 21, 2006, in a automobile accidentin Lawrence County. He was born on March 16, 1983, to Ray E.Roberts and Debbye Chandler Roberts.
He was a crane operator with TODCO, in Houston, Texas. He was amember of Carmel Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Roy Chandler andReggie Roberts; his grandmother, Georgia M. Chandler; and hisnatural father, Terry Roberts, who died when he was a youngchild.
Survivors are his parents; his wife, Sarah Findley Roberts, ofNatchez; and his brothers, Dwayne Carney, of Monticello, andChristopher Roberts, of Monticello.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Society, TheAmerican Heart Association, or The Baptist Children Village.
Randy Thompson
Services for Randy Thompson, of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m. Tuesday,April 25, 2006 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inNations Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Thompson, 39, died April 21, 2006, at Forest GeneralHospital, in Hattiesburg. He was born on September 22, 1966 toEddie Thompson, Jr. and Beulah Mae Bowman Thompson.
He was a flagman with Dickerson and Bowen, Inc, ofBrookhaven.
Preceding him in death was his sister, Linda Sue Posey.
Survivors are his parents; his sons, Michael Dywayne Thompson,of Wesson, and Billy Joe Thompson, of Brookhaven; his daughter,Karen Marie Thompson, of Wesson; his brother, Rickey Lynn Thompson,of Brookhaven; his sisters, Roselyn Marie White, of Ruth, Rita FayeAcy, of Wesson, Sharon Kaye Knight, of Brookhaven, and Nancy AnnThompson, of Brookhaven; and numerous neices, nephews and otherrelatives and friends.
Rev. Gary D. Ballard
Services for the Rev. Gary D. Ballard, of Summit, were Saturdayat Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church. Jones Family FuneralServices was in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Ballard, 62, died April 20, 2006 at Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson following a long battle with cancer. He was bornin Middlesboro, Ky. on Dec. 20, 1943, to the Rev. Donald K. Ballardand Lola Sutton Ballard.
He was a retired ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarenewith 25 years of faithful service to churches in Tennessee, Alabamaand Mississippi. He graduated from McComb High School in 1961.Later, he earned two Bachelor’s degrees from Bethany NazareneCollege and Trevecca Nazarene College.
Preceding him in death were his his mother; his brother, JonStephen Ballard; his sister, Donna Kay Ballard; and hisparents-in-law:, Oliver C. Roberts and Clarice Roberts.
Survivors are his wife, Shellda Roberts Ballard; his sons, Gary”Don” Ballard II and his wife, Jamie, of Houston, Texas, and DarrinC. Ballard and his wife Amanda Thornton, of Summit; his father andhis wife, Martha, of Memphis, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
