Robert Bernard Johnson

Services for Robert Bernard Johnson, a New Orleans, La., evacueeresiding in Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at GalileeA.M.E. Church in Caseyville with burial in the church cemetery.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson, 76, died July 2, 2006, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter. He was born in Copiah County on May 3, 1930, to WilliamMyles Johnson and Carrie May Wesley Johnson.

He was retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, LindaJohnson; his brothers, Otha Johnson, Luther Earl Johnson, W.M.Johnson and Herman Ray Johnson.

Survivors are his daughters, Shelia Johnson, of New Orleans, andUritisicy Brown, of Houston, Texas; his sons, Kevin Johnson, LionelJohnson, Lorenzo Johnson and Jessie Johnson, all of New Orleans,and Joe Johnson, of Atlanta, Ga.; his sister, Florine Wilson, ofMichigan City, Ind.; his 14 grandchildren; his fourgreat-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
