Gregory Howell Corkern

Services for Gregory Howell Corkern, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m.today, Sept. 12, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in NewSight Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Mr. Corkern, 32, died Sept. 10, 2006, in Brookhaven. He was bornon Oct. 11, 1973, to Marion Corkern and Barbara Havard Corkern.

He was a carpenter. He was a member of New Sight BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his wife, Jennifer Corkern, of Brookhaven; hismother, Barbara Corkern, of Wesson; his son, Kasey Tucker Corkern,of Monticello; his daughter, Chloe Corkern, of Brookhaven; hisgrandmother, Bessie Corkern, of Wesson; his sisters, Melvia Price,of White Oak, N.C., and Stephanie Winborne, of Wesson.

Lorraine Ann Donald

Services for Lorraine Ann Donald, of Starkville, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Starkvillewith burial in Memorial Park Gardens in Starkville.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Mrs. Donald, 56, died Sept. 10, 2006, at Baptist MemorialHospital Golden Triangle in Columbus. She was born in the Bronx,New York City, N.Y., to Thomas Patrick Murphy and Charlotte BacceiMurphy.

She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She worked fora short time in the Office of the Dean of the College of Arts andScience at Mississippi State. She volunteered at the Red Crosscenter in Starkville.

Survivors are her husband of 30 years, Jeffery Donald, ofStarkville; her mother, Charlotte Murphy, of West Palm Beach, Fla.;her sons, Patrick Donald, of Hopkinsville, N.Y., currently workingin Balad, Iraq, and Captain Ryan Donald, stationed at Fort Jackson,S.C.; her grandson, Jacob Donald; and daughter-in-law, Anne(Hinshaw) Donald.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
