Services for Jerry Brown, of Chicago, Ill., formerly ofBrookhaven, are 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10 at Friendship M.B. Church inMonticello with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.
Mr. Brown, 58, died Nov. 3, 2006, in Chicago. He was born inMonticello on July 18, 1948, to Slyvester Brown and JuanitaBrown.
He was retired. He graduated from Crane High School in Chicagoin 1967. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member ofFriendship M.B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sisters, TrinaBrown and Dorothy Hoosier; and his wife, Vernia Brown.
Survivors are his daughters, Tamara Peterson and Tracy Purnell,both of Cleveland, Ohio; his brothers, Paul Brown and Phillip Brownand his wife, Laura Brown, all of Chicago; his sisters, JenniferRichardson, Valeria Brown and Paulette Brown, all of Chicago; fourgrandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
