Services for Levie Eley Jr., of Monticello, are 11 a.m.Saturday, April 21, at Bethany M.B. Church in Jayess with burial inthe church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Eley, 64, died April 15, 2007, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born on Feb. 1, 1943, to Levie Eley Sr. and EffieEley.

He was retired.

Preceding him in death were his father; his brother, John HenryEley; his sister, Martha Lee Hill; and his son, Darrell Anton.

Survivors are his mother, Effie Eley, of Monticello; hisdaughters, Martha Youngblood, of Lumberton, Earline Eley andCharlotte Eley, both of Hammond, La., Cheryl Sims, Galinda Hudsonand Shalanda Pittman, all of Monticello, Takeasha Anton, ofBrookhaven, Carolyn Anton Frazier, of Ruth, Karen Anton, ofBrookhaven, Breanna Pittman and Alexis Pittman, both of McComb; hissons, Junior Lee Eley, of Monticello, Calvin Anton, Tyrone Bullockand Charles Bullock, all of McComb, and Timothy Eley, of Hammond;his sisters, Johnnie Holloway, Ethel Johnson and Pearl Eley, all ofMonticello; his brothers, Nathaniel Eley, Leroy Eley, Ernest Eleyand Booker T. Eley, all of Monticello; his 41 grandchildren, hisfive great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews and other relatives.
