Services for Jerry Clinton Smith Sr., of Bogue Chitto, are 3p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Community Family Funeral Services withburial in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at thefuneral home.

Mr. Smith, 67, died Aug. 4, 2007, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter. He was born on Feb. 26, 1940, to Harvey Smith and VirgieHunt Smith.

He was owner of Jerry’s Sheet Metal in Port Gibson for nineyears and Brookhaven Sheet Metal for two years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother; and onesister.

Survivors are his wife, Claudine Smith, of Bogue Chitto; hisson, Jerry Clinton “Cotton” Smith Jr., of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Sue Leggett and husband Samson, of Bogue Chitto, andRobin Smith, of Fayetteville, N.C.; his brother, John Smith, ofNatchez; his sisters, Inez Gardner and Phyllis Hale, both ofNatchez; and four grandchildren.
