Time to remove campaign signs

With Tuesday’s primaries over, we also want to commend thosecandidates who lost or failed to make the runoffs on their effortsto remove their political signs from along roads and elsewhere. Andwe don’t want to forget winning candidates who have removed theirsigns because they have no more opposition.

These candidates are being responsible in their campaigns andare being conscientious about community appearance. We urgecandidates who need to remove their signs to do so as quickly aspossible.

Only the signs of candidates in the runoffs or in the generalelection need to remain in place. With respect to everyone else, the signs are now just litter – and no one would vote for any ofthat.
