Services for Willard Coke, of Brookhaven, were 10 a.m. Friday,Aug. 17, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inMt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Mr. Coke, 82, died Aug. 14, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born on Aug. 11, 1925, to Bolivar Coke Sr. and EmmaJordan Coke.

He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, FlorenceBoone Coke; and his brother, Bolivar “Bob” Coke.

Survivors are his sons, Pierce Dean Coke and Don Coke; hisdaughter, Marguerite Allen; his brothers, Ralph Lynn Coke andCharles Coke; his sister, Prudence Parnell; and his eightgrandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
