Services for Jack Diamond Jr., of Ruth, will be held at 10 a.m.Thursday, Dec. 20, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel.

Visitation is Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mr. Diamond, 74, died Dec. 17, 2007, at his residence. He was bornon Jan. 19, 1933, to Jack Diamond Sr. and Maybelle BeesonDiamond.

He was retired after 40 years of service with Brown’s Velvet Dairy.He served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of theBaptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, J.D.Diamond.

Survivors are his former wife, Patricia Mishler, of Hammond; hissons, Mark Richard Diamond, of Hammond, La., Ricky Steven Diamond,of Kenner, La., and Michael Jack Diamond, of Hammond; his brother,Clayton Diamond, of Metairie, La.; and his five grandchildren.
