Services for Lucille S. Smith, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, Dec. 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 81, died Dec. 10, 2008, in Brookhaven. She was born onApril 13, 1927, to Joe B. Smith and Eunice Porter Smith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church inBrookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Leon Smith,Marvin Smith, Othell Smith and Dan Smith; and a sister, EvaDavis.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Ray C. Smith; a son, MichaelSmith and wife, Kaye; a daughter, Kathy Smith Morris and husband,Ronnie; a sister, Sarah Freeman and husband, Solon; and a host ofgrandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lottie Moon ChristmasOffering at First Baptist Church.
