Services for Pamela Newton Fields, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, April 18, at Macedonia M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary inBrookhaven.

Mrs. Fields, 59, died April 10, 2009, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Brookhaven onJan. 24, 1950, to Robert Jones and Areace Bledsoe Jones.

She graduated from the 33rd Avenue High School in Gulfport andwas also a Tougaloo College graduate. She was disabled. She was amember of Macedonia M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her mother; her adopted mothers,Helen Stevenson Day and Ida Mae Pluckett; her sisters, BridgettWilliams, Roberta Lee, Barbara Taylor and Linda Collins; and herbrothers, Charles Cason and Brady Cason.

Survivors are her father, Robert Jones, of Brookhaven; herhusband, Jimmy Fields, of Brookhaven; her sons, Ronovan Sparks,Robert Pharr III, both of Gulfport, and Reginald Pharr, ofBrookhaven; her brothers, Robert Newton and wife, Jeanette, SamuelJones and James Earl Jones, all of Brookhaven; her sisters, VanettaVaughn and husband, Ray, of Delta City, Dorothy Hunter and husband,Robert, Lillian Bridges and husband, Ronnie, Wydell Dixon andhusband, Luther, Vickie Redd and husband, Emale, Barbra AnnWashington and husband, John, and Patricia “Sweet” Littleton andhusband, Merlin, all of Brookhaven; a goddaughter, Ty’BrionnaBrock, of Brookhaven; her stepchildren, Roderick Pharr and wife,Donshell, Bobby Pharr, Portia Pharr, all of Gulfport, and LamikoBlackmon and husband, Jeff, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; her 18grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
