Services for Kendall Eugene Floyd, of Bogue Chitto, are 10 a.m.Saturday, June 6, at Little Bahala Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 4 until 10 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome on North Jackson Street and Saturday from 9 until 10 a.m. atthe church.

Mr. Floyd, 67, died June 3, 2009, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on Jan. 26, 1942, to John Lewis Floyd and MyrtisCase Floyd.

He was an oil field worker. He served in the Vietnam War. He wasa member of Little Bahala Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his brothers, BennieFloyd, Bobby Floyd, Johnnie Floyd, Aubrey Earl Floyd and ThomasEverett Floyd.

Survivors are his mother, Myrtis Case Floyd, of Warrington, Ga.;a son, Kendall Floyd Jr., of Brookhaven; his daughters, RachaelFloyd and Kathy Floyd, both of Thomson, Ga.; his stepdaughters,Sherry Durden, Brenda Clark and Jenny Milton, all of Thomson; hissisters, Maryln Stevenson, of Warrenton, Ga., Janice Quinn, ofPurvis, and Shirley Durr Sherritze, of Warrenton; and his sevengrandchildren.
