Services for Betty Thames Jones, of Nashville, Tenn., are 10a.m. Friday, July 24, at First Church of the Nazarene in Nashvillewith burial in Hermitage Memorial Gardens at noon. The Rev. GaryHenecke will officiate.

Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at Hermitage FuneralHome in Old Hickory, Tenn., and Friday from 9 until 10 a.m. at thechurch.

Mrs. Jones, 75, died July 22, 2009. She was born in Brookhavento Walter and Dottie Thames.

She graduated from Ruth High School. She was a member of theFirst Church of the Nazarene in Nashville. She was a devotedpastor’s wife and mother.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband of 51 years, Samuel Edward Jones; herchildren, Robinel Jones Bradshaw and husband, Daniel, Renee JonesDillon and husband, Adam, Samuel Dwayne Jones and wife, Sabrina,and Edward Wayne Jones; a sister, Dottie Thames Hill and husband,Jim; and her 11 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are family and friends.
