Services for Carl Robert Callender, of Wesson, are 2 p.m.Monday, March 29, at Strong Hope Baptist Church with burial inStrong Hope Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Callender, 66, died March 27, 2010, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center.

He was a member of Strong Hope Baptist Church. He lived most of hislife in the Strong Hope community and retired after 20 years fromSanderson Farms. One of his great loves was fishing and he has nowfound himself a better fishing hole. He also loved sharing tomatoesout of his garden with his family and friends.

Survivors are his wife of 44 years, Florine Davis Callender; hisdaughter, Pam Thompson and husband, Danny, of Hazlehurst; his son,Tracy L. Price and wife, SunCha, of Crestview, Fla.; his sister,Eula Jane Harris, of Hazlehurst; and his grandchildren, TrevorDavis Price and Lisa Jade Price.
