Services for Annie “Ann” Marie Ezell Pepper, of Brookhaven, are2 p.m. Monday, May 10, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NatchezDrive, with burial in Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Pepper, 80, died May 6, 2010, at Haven Hall Health Care Centerin Brookhaven. She was born in Franklin County on June 17, 1929, toHenry Ezell and Addie Huffman Ezell.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church inMeadville.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, T.L. Pepper;her brothers, William, Robert, Archie, Pinkie, Irvin and LloydEzell; her sisters, Versie Menasco, Bernie Wilson, Ada Travis andIda Wallace; and her great-granddaughter, Courtney Copeland.

Survivors are her son, Tom Pepper, of Las Vegas, Nev.; herdaughter, Debra Pepper Nix and husband Guy, of Brookhaven; herbrothers, Johnny Ezell, and Charlie Ezell and wife Bessie, all ofMeadville; her sisters, Clara Jackson, and Rosie Forrest andhusband Curtis, all of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, CandieCopeland and husband Donnie, of Brookhaven, Rebecca McKenna andhusband Ryan, of Portland, Ore., Thomas Pepper, of Las Vegas,Amanda Flathers and husband Greg, of Brookhaven, and Harris Nix, ofBrookhaven; her great-grandchildren, Isabella and GeoffreyFlathers, and Erica Copeland, who will be born in July; and a hostof nieces and nephews.
