Pete’s Interiors posted a pair of impressive Monday nightvictories in the Lincoln County Dixie Boys Baseball League. Pete’spounded Peoples Bank of the South 10-1 and R.B. Wall Oil 12-2 atExchange Club Park’s American Legion Field.

Two league games are on tap tonight, starting at 6 p.m. PaulJackson & Son Construction plays R.B. Wall in the opener,followed by New York Life vs. Bobby’s Starter & AlternatorService at 8.

Pete’s 10, Peoples Bank 1

Les Parker pitched Pete’s past the bankers, striking out two andwalking none. Brady Wilson (1 K, 4 BB) was charged with theloss.

At the plate, a double by Bailey Warren directed the victory.Parker singled twice. Peyton Hood, Austin Crow, Kaleb Skinner, C.J.Viramontez, Mac McQuage and Blake Burns singled.

The bankers got a double from Alex Neal. Chase Buckles singledtwice. Brady Wilson also hit safely.

Pete’s 12, R.B. Wall 2

Mack Smith fanned four batters and walked none in pitching Pete’sover R.B. Wall. Caleb Yarborough walked two and struck out two in alosing cause.

Two singles by Austin Crow sparked Pete’s at the plate. BaileyWarren, Les Parker, Ethan Harris, Peyton Hood, Kaleb Skinner andSmith singled.

The Oilers got two singles from Austin West. Jordan Mitchell andDorian Beard singled.
