Funeral services for Robert L. Hart Sr., of Jayess, are 11 a.m.on Saturday, June 26, at Georgetown Pentecostal Church, with burialin Georgetown Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in CrystalSprings is handling arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Hart, 72, passed away June 22, 2010, at Lawrence CountyHospital.
He was a native of Ruth. He had lived in Carlisle, Ill., from1956-58. He lived in Brookhaven until 1976 while he worked inpipeline construction. He formerly lived in Port Gibson whileworking at the nuclear power plant and moved to Raymond from1980-1995. He was living Jayess at the time of his death. He was amember of the Raymond Baptist Church. He served in the MississippiNational Guard. He was a member of the Fair River Masonic Lodge,Brookhaven.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hart; mother, LillieCooksey; and a brother, John Hart.
He is survived by two sons and four daughters: Tanna (Johnny)Bosler of Centralia, Ill., Robin (David) Bryan of Breeze, Ill.,Bobby (Ollie) Hart of Georgetown, Tammy (Randy) Jones of Lena,Carol (Matt) Myers of Pinola, and Brian (Kelly) Hart of Jayess; twosisters, Rosie Dunning, of Monticello, and Ruby Smith, ofBrookhaven; brother, Tillman Hart, of Brandon; eight grandsons,four granddaughters, three great-grandsons, threegreat-granddaughters; and a host of nephews and nieces.
