Funeral services for Jean T. Tolbert, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.on Thursday, July 1, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Tolbert, 76, died June 29, 2010, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Aug. 23, 1933, to WillieLamar Thompson and Eria Belle Hudson.

She was an artist, owner of Jean’s Arts & Crafts, and an artteacher.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Willie Lamar and EriaBelle Thompson.

Survivors are her husband, James Tolbert; her sons, Jimmy Tolbertand wife Harrilyn, of Baton Rouge, La., Ronnie Tolbert ofDiamondhead, and Mike Tolbert of Brookhaven; her daughters, BillieSmith and husband Bruce, of Brookhaven, and Cindy Lightsey andhusband Kyle, of Laurel; nine grandchildren; and 11great-grandchildren.
