Funeral services for Albert A. Smith, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m.on Monday, Aug. 30, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Sunday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Smith, 63, died Aug. 28, 2010, at his residence. He was born inMississippi on Aug. 10, 1947, to Maurice Smith and Agnes CaseSmith.

He was self-employed. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He wasa United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Maurice and Agnes Smith;and his father-in-law, Hugh Tarver.

Survivors are his wife, Jane Tarver Smith; his sons, Briley Smithand wife, Lisa, and Taylor A. Smith; his daughter, Ginger SmithWalker and husband, Justin; his mother-in-law, Fay Tarver; hissisters, Cheryl Barrett and husband, Pat, Karen Hester and husband,Jimmy, and Rhonda Twitty and husband, Russ; and his grandchildren,Lesley Walker, Payne Walker and Aubree Smith.
